I am planning on travelling to Germany during the World Cup. I'm aware travel and accommodation is very hard to get during that month. Should I fly into Paris or London then travel to Germany or try to get a flight straight into Germany? I imagine the train stations and airports will be chaos. Does renting a car then driving into Germany sound like a good idea? Any advice?

hey
i`d just check the rates of the flights. if they are cheaper to paris e.g. then consider renting a car. if not train travel in europe shouldnt be a problem, also not during the world cup as there are lots of connections. flights i`d book early as they fill up...maybe its already to late for some.

good luck !

We can have a solution for you - accomodation in Czech Republic, in lovely Prague or maybe in Marianske lazne spa Its a nice city very close to Germany. Check Prague-Town.com. We offer 3*** hotels for as low as 30 EUR and we also provide Car Rental in cooperation with Sixt with 10% sales so you can see the rates.

Have a great time during the World Cup!
