Hope the Christmas holidays were good to everyone..
Question: I've heard of a hostel in Bangkok called Big John's Guesthouse,Hostel and Internet Cafe..It seemed like a great place from all I've read about it..I've never stayed in a hostel before and I'm wondering if anyone has heard of this place or stayed there? If so then how was it..Any advice you have on this topic or on hostels and travel in Thailand would be much appreciated..
Thanks in advance..
There is a lot of info on the web on this place, just Google Big John's Pies, Bangkok.
This address should work too - www.email-cafe.com/
What I remember is that this place is convenient to the Skytrain and Ekamai bus station.
Look up www.suk11.com/ for another similar choice closer to the Nana Skytrain stop.
Big John's place and Suk11 comes up pretty often on the Lonely Planet boards too!
I have not stayed here personally, but have met people that have, and they go back there frequently. Its a great place, Aussie run and very friendly. Apparently its booked out at the moment, so your best bet is to ring first.
I know many people who leave baggage there whilst travelling the islands....everyone talks about that place. I was hoping to use it myself if/when I get back to Bangkok.
