Fi - if you can get the sweet potatoes into the country, I have lamb roasts... (A friend of ours raises sheep.)

Keep in mind that James has James1 (Alexander) all ready and this is James2 on the way.

Cheetos may be the same thing as Cheezels - I'll have to look up Cheezels to be sure.

Jeez, I started the thread and didn't put in my X-Mas dinner.

I did the fruit and cheese platter.

Smoked Fontina, Herb-crusted brie, boursin w/ cranberry and peppercorns, chevre and some Point-Reyes blue
assorted crackers and fruit

Dinner:
roast yams with truffle oil and fresh basil
(if only I could get my hands on some Kumara. hhmmm)
green beans with balsamic
broccoli with lots of garlic
roast red bliss potatoes w/ rosemary
garlic bread
roast tri-tip

Dessert:
poached royal riviera pears with raspberry infused marscapone and a blueberry compote

Needless to say I was stuffed.

And for New Year's - well, I guess I should eat something before the comsuming of libations. Lots and lots of carbs.

Tway, I'm gonna need to borrow that stationary bike.;) Maybe we should start a sign-up sheet.

Sounds like the perfect day. Just hope that you cooked the hotdogs first.

Ahhh...since I have moved to Arizona...I have found they have all sorts of weird (to Michiganders) customs ;)
We had Christmas tacos...tamales, spanish rice, moosibes (? I think that is how you spell it, spam inside rice, wrapped in seaweed) These people are just odd I tell ya ;)
