Hi all!

A friend and I will be in Cracow for 6 days this january and I'd like to know if some of you have some advices or places to go, or things to do.

Hey Dem !
How lucky you are ! Krakow is a litlle city but there are many things to see and to do.

At first in Krakow you can visit the Wawel Hill and the Wawel Castel which is an important - and beautiful - place in Krakow.
I won't talk about the Rynek and Florianska gate. You'll see them.
And don't miss the district of Kazimierz, the old Jewish part of Krakow.

If you stay 6 days you should visit the wieliczka salt mine. It's really impressive !!

Less merry but not less interesting you can go to Auschwitz. You can take a bus (at the main train station), but you'd better take the train. The station is not so far from the camp.

Besides, Cracow is very famous in Poland for a impressive quantity of restaurants serving typical Polish meals. I don't know their names but suppose its not difficult do find them in the old town. I don't know if you are familiar with polish meals.. if not, it's a waste of life eating in fast foods etc and do not leave Cracow without trying bigos, pierogi, rosol, some meals with mushrooms, etc..
