Hellooooo!!!!The time has come again and I setting off on another big trip!!!Not alone this time, will be travelling India and Nepal with my friend, Daniel!Sure to have a fabulous time, lots of sightseeing, shopping and hopefully getting into some interesting situations to say the least!!!!We are going to be arriving in Goa around about July 14th and spending 6 weeks travelling around India and into Nepal....from Goa, move up into the Rajasthan region then do the whole Agra, Jaipur and then Delhi thing, then onto Varanasi and Calcutta and then move north over the Nepal border!!!!!Well thats the plan but you know what its like when you get there, just go with the flow and await the suprises!!!!!Anyone planning a similar trip would be great to compare notes or rendezvous in India and enjoy some crazy nighttime extravaganzas!!!!!
Your schedule in India looks fantastic.!!
One small suggestion:
July would still be a rainy season in Goa...if you like rains then ok..
otherwise..suggest you to visit Nepal first(not sure of weather) or visit Chennai/Madras (no rains till Oct).
For your information, most parts of India except Tamilnadu state will have rainy season( south west monsoon). Rainy season satrts around Mid May in Kerala and moves up to cover most of the states till about end Aug.
Have a great trip.
defentily going to be in india for 2months in july/august 06, i havent made any set plans all i know is that I will spend quite some time in Calcutta as i've got quite a few friends there (i lived there for 2yrs) so if u need to know anything about calcutta ill be happy to answer. I have also travelled alot in India but I havent been to Goa or Mumbai so I'd love to check those places out.
Hiya Guys!Sorry about the delay in replying, been away for a few days so now Im catching up!Thanks for your advice, its great!I was concerned about the rain as we were in Japan a few months ago over the rainy season and it got so bad we vowed never to go anywhere in the rainy season again! However, this is the best time for us to go so maybe we will have to suffer the rain!
Robsie, yeah, i would love to hear more about Calcutta, thats one of the places I am most looking forward to, it looks amazing!Maybe our paths will cross over there as we will be there around the same time!
