I did a lot of cool travel this year, which I am very thankful for. I got to go to 9 new countries this year - Netherlands, Tanzania, France, Belgium, Russia, Mongolia, China, Hong Kong, Honduras. It'll be 12 if you count Germany, Poland and Belarus which I took the train through, but wasn't allowed to get off the train. 13 if you count Belize, which I landed in but didn't get out of the airport. But whatever, we'll say 9.

I got to go to three continents I'd never been to before: Europe, Africa and Asia.

I got to do a number of adventures that had been on my list of things to do before I die:
- Climb (or at least attempt) Kilimanjaro
- Safari
- Tran-Siberian train ride
- Visit Mongolia

And I did all this without losing my job, and I actual have more money saved than when I started the year!

I have no idea what 2006 holds. January is going to be an important month, I believe, and there are many different paths that could result from the changes that could occur in January.
