Happy new Year everyone,

Just got back from a year in SE Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and India. Thinking where to go next....

I should be able to manage about a month, around August to travel for a bit, and would probably have about £700-£1000 to spend on the whole thing including flights.

Anybody got any good suggestions/recommendations? I'm quite interested in Eastern Europe but haven't researched anything?

Probably going back to university in September to do a 3 year course with work placements over the hols, therefore I won't be able to travel again for a while, and want to make the most of it!

PS

Since I have to buy a computer and text books, that is the absolute maximum budget, really, its the cheaper the better.

How about Morroco?
Dirt cheap to get there (fly to Malaga with easyjet then get the boat) and 800 pounds would last you 3 months there.

Hiya!!!How about getting an Interail pass?Theyre cheap and You could travel all around Eastern Europe as accomodation over there is quite cheap expecially if you sample some of the cool little homestays which are a fun experience! Also how about checking out Ryan air, they fly to loads of places from London so with the amount of money you have to spend you could indulge in a few flights and then alternate with a few train journeys and see the places you want to see!

I am looking for work at the moment at the moment, but if I get the job I have my eye on, I might be able to save up a bit more!

What about heading to Africa, you can cheap flights through travel agencies on mainland europe, depending on where you go it can be quite cheap, the interrail idea also sounds good ...

God I'd love to go to Africa someday, but maybe I would need more time. And balls. I am probably going to be alone, where do people go?

I quite like the idea of interailing. But I'd always thought I'd leave seeing Europe for shorter breaks like 1-2 week holidays or even romantic long weekends with my non-existant boyfriend, and with a longer break like 4-6 weeks go further afield to somewhere more adventurous.

I am interested in Nepal. Also China. They would be cheap enough once you've got there.

Its never enough time is it!!!!

Just make a choice if you want to see several countrys/citys of just one (of a few). About every city/country you can find a lot of information on the internet. With 800 pounds you can have a lot of fun but that depends on the choice you make. My experience is that it's easier to make a budget for each day.

Don't forget to enjoy your trip,

Kind regards,

Bjorn
