Hi all,
Happy New Year!!! have fun for all ur travels!
i´m now in buenos aires, and just found that they have direct bus (from Ormeno and another bus company) from here to Lima, only 18 hours (tho quite expensive, but still way cheaper than flight).
i´m just wondering if there are any direct bus from peru to brazil.

I believe that there are no direct buses to Brazil. In the amazon basin
there are no roads at all. Also through Bolivia you will have to pass
about 700km dirt road to get to Brazil (But there is a train passing this stretch from Santa Cruz to Corumba). I think you will have to change in La Paz and Santa Cruz - but I'm not sure.

Hi Nat! Also, have a great new year.

I'm 99% sure there is not direct bus from Peru to Brazil.
Nat, if you wanna go from Peru to Brazil or Brazil to Peru you can do what i did last year.

From Brazil (Florianopolis or it's the same if you start in Rio)

Go by bus to Campo Grande then to Corumba. After that cross the border and enter to Bolivia. Go to Santa Cruz by bus or train then to La Paz. From La Paz you can go to Puno (Peru) and then Cusco.

I think it's the "faster way" to travel from Brazil to Peru.

Another way is from Manaus to Iquitos (by boat, no idea how long is this trip) and from Iquitos a fly to Lima...

Hope it can help you

Hi Nat_tang

There is no bus directly from Lima to Brasil.

There are several options to came here. The best depen on to where in Brazil you want to go.

From Lima to São paulo via the commom path via La Paz is 4 day travelling depend on time you start and if you want to take off/on from bus to bus.

It is a hard trip to make in one shot.

best regards
