Will you accept "spork"?

(In the voice of Jerry Stiller)

NEVER mention that word in my presence again. NEVER!!!

Serenity now!!

...insanity later.

It's not a word, but I have become very distressed with the use of the phrase "words cannot describe..." as of late. Mostly because the person how says it then goes on to try and describe whatever it is that they just told me can't be described.

Regardless. very semantic, never really necesscary, just kinda makes you try and sound like your interested in the subject or care.

Orientated. Not a word, people, NOT a word!

Phlegm. (self explanatory)

Phonetic. (oh, really?)

And I have to go with George Carlin on this one: "New and Improved." How can it be both new and improved? Huh? It's either/or, not both.

Toxify - like orientated - NOT a word.

You can detoxify something, but you can not toxify it.

Mother of all _____________. (Fill in the blank.)
____________ of the century. (Fill in the blank.)

Those two drive me crazy!!!

one comes to mind real quick:
dude - do people know what that word really means?
although Dude, Where's my car? is like the funniest movie all-time, dude

Lance, I agree with you on 'dude'. Very overused in present day America and irratating as well. However, the overuse of 'like' really is my least favorite expression. It seems most of our next generation cannot get through a sentence without adding the superfluous, 'like'. "It was like, so hot out!!" Ugh.

i wish i could stop saying dude. as much as i hate it, it is a cultural thing, and i have to accept it as such. you just get used to sayin it. people say 'mate' and no one gets pissed. i dunno.

Well, its basically like this. I want to try and toxify all the orientated phlegmatic dudes out there. Like, it is so hard to be phonetic, I mean, like, words cannot describe the new and improved sporks. I'm, like, gonna head down to the village, which is like the gateway to the new and improved, quintessential, and might I add, quite eclectic, Pub du jour and forget about all this work management for a while.

Later dudes.
