i wish i could stop saying dude. as much as i hate it, it is a cultural thing, and i have to accept it as such. you just get used to sayin it. people say 'mate' and no one gets pissed. i dunno.

Yoda said it best, "Don't try, either do it or choose not to." You can either improve your vocabulary or not. Your choice of what words you use can and will change as you age. I serious doubt that you will being using 'dude' regularly when you reach your fathers age. Word choice becomes habit and that we can change. Do not simply 'wish' you could change, make an effort to cut down on the use of; 'you know' 'like' and 'dude'. Your choice.

Well, its basically like this. I want to try and toxify all the orientated phlegmatic dudes out there. Like, it is so hard to be phonetic, I mean, like, words cannot describe the new and improved sporks. I'm, like, gonna head down to the village, which is like the gateway to the new and improved, quintessential, and might I add, quite eclectic, Pub du jour and forget about all this work management for a while.

Later dudes.

Lance, well done. The difference is that you can turn off the overuse of 'like' and 'you know'. Many of our younger generation cannot.

Reminds me of my favorite Chinese proverb:
"Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those doing it."

I have not heard that one. The Chinese have been around so long they probably have an apropos quote to cover almost every situation. This one I will write down and try to work into future conversations. Thanks Lance.

Evan, I think you will be quoted for awesomeness, but certainly not your above contribution. That will go straight into the trashbin of forgettable muck.
