Can't say it's my cup of tea and hemp cookies , but I'm glad to see that you consider the opinions of males as being what ultimately counts

By the way, what on earth is a monroe (or shouldn't I ask)?

The monroe piercing is an on the side of the upper lip piercing, kind of where marilyn monroe had her 'beauty mark'!

ps. im not its what ultimately counts........but a gals gotta consider these things

Hi anon82,
I personally dont't like piercings but then maybe i'm of a diffrent generation. At about your age, my daughter had infection problems with one she had on her eyebrow & my son had his nipple deformed due to one he got there. Both now don't have piercings. It's up to you and you can always remove the pirecing, at least its not as painful as tattoo's (which I also dont like) - Bah humbug...
BYW my great grandfather had earings!!

Definitely go with the peircings. I think alot of people take it over the edge but thats my opinion. A monroe woulld be really cool. I think the 'labrae', the one in the lower lip, looks cool. I would love to get one but I am out with the public a little too much to do it. Enlarging is fine, too. Again just don't take it too far. Ears are not meant to show off something the size of an Olympic gold medal. Tongues are ol' school but still cool. There are a lot of good peircing and tattoo parlors that if you talk to the artist they'll help steer you in the right direction. As far as I've seen, in a couple out here in California, the better tattoo parlors really try and give you as much info as possible before they go ahead and do it.

The above opinions are not necessarily those of TP web-site or the male population in general. They are the thoughts of one man and in no way reflect those of the massive TP family around the world.

liprings aite, monroe thing i think is kinda dumb. i dont like the little ones in the nose that sparkle either, just kinda looks like acne. a little barbell in the eyebrow aint bad either, kinda hot sumtimes.
tho im goin for the natural being the hippie that i am. teehee giggle giggle /smack.
uh yea

I used to have my nose pierced, now only have 2 piercings in each ear and navel now. only got comments like...kool, I didnt have anything huge tho-thats not my kinda style. I love lip piercings and eyebrow but depends if its going to suit you, you should do it for yourself.

Everyone has different opinions. I know lots of female mates that have piercings everywhere, no-one takes much notice.I think it's become the norm now.

Just remember about jobs as a lot will not be so keen to take you on unless you are going to be employed to be out the back or not personaly dealing with clients! Depends on your profession i suppose.

I don't mind piercings on a girl as long as they are subtle and don't take away from the natural beauty of a persons face. I am definately not opposed to facial piercings (as I used to have one myself) and just remember that in the end if it becomes a hassle or you get sick of it you can just take it out...

I have a pierced nose and I'm really happy with it. Just have it done at by a professional.
I have heard of girls that have a monroe that have got really bad sores on their gums from the stud...

I am definitely from another generation, but I just do not see the point in self-mutilation. Why are you getting a piercing? For attention? To be cool? Piercings do not add to ones beauty, IMHO, so this older male says; pass on the piercings and tattoos. Let your natural beauty shine through.
