hello people. happy new year,
was wondering going to vegas in 2 weeks havnt booked hotel yet,
has anyone left it til day before to book as maybe cheaper
or is it best to book now incase booked out,
or is it better to turn up and get best deal.
any ideas also is it best to stay central strip if poss?
sorry bit clueless...
Since it's January, waiting until the last minute will be fine (except during the CES convention--which fortunately for you was this last weekend)--and you might even be able to get a better deal at the last minute (go to hotels.com, travelocity.com or expedia.com and check out their "Last Minute Deals" sections.
If you were going anytime between March and first week in November, however it would be another story. Vegas would be completely booked, and you would be driving 40 miles out to the stateline area to find a room close by.
On the strip is best.
go to the websites of the casinos
you can get circus circus for like 49 a night.
excalibur for like 59 sometimes less.
Check the terms and conditions carefully. You can usually make a reservation that you can cancel at no charge 48 -24 hours before you travel. Find the best deal you can and book it. Then keep on checking for late bargains. If you find one before you travel, book it and cancel your first booking.
