I have had enough of hours of searching for travel insurance online.
I've got a headache...
Insure and go seem good but i think there's prob cheaper out there. tried Nomads. It's just you don't know which ones are legit!
Can someone help me and name some good, well known legit companies i can search! I'm looking for 1 years, Oz and NZ.
Any advice appreciated!
I got 12 months insurance to cover Asia, NZ, Oz, Fiji and Canada inc. "extreme sports" cover for snowboarding, skydiving, sea diving etc. throught STA and it only cost me about £300. Luckily I never needed it, so can't tell you how good they are, but according to the policy I was covered for just about everything except zorbing?
have you tried the Post Office? I've always used them, and they have the option of a multiple travel one that covers you and a travel partner for a year.
They were also very efficient when my boyf made a claim for accidental damages done to his bike frame whilst it was being loaded onto the plane when they got back from a biking holiday to watch Le Tour De France last year.
You can do it online too. Worth a lookie.
I've always gone with World Nomads (about 8 times now) and haven't been disappointed with the prices/system. They're backed by a very reputable insurer in Allianz. In fact, you'll find a lot of the insurances you'll look at are all backed by the same company. See here for the easy overview. WN charge 200 pounds for a year in OZ/NZ
