The train will take a long time and it's more expensive if you choose the berth, which of course you can sleep in. The bus can be quite expensive but there are quite a lot of choices with different price packages. Make sure you ask them where the bus stops. There's one too many stops nowadays.

As for accomodation you can try this site : http://www.hostelsweb.com/cities/kualalumpur.html

You have to ask someone else about singapore though.

Ta. Hope it helps.

Check out the buses from Thailand, through Malaysia then to singapore. It will be a long journey though.

Another option is to try a budget Airline from Bangkok to Singapore. May sound fancy..but its the air fares are quite cheap...& its defiantely much faster.

In singapore, there are a few back packing hotels you can stay in. There is also a cheap hotel chain called Hotel 81. But hotels, even the low end ones..will be realtively expensive compared to other countries in Asia.

Try out this link from this website http://www.travellerspoint.com/hostels-en-ci-1188.html

But good thing is that when travelling within singapore; the food and transportation is cheap. Nightlife is expensive though..but you can alwyas go to a hawker centre for a beer!!!!

its a small county and yo can really travell around by youself..whether transit line or on bus.

Going to Malaysia..yo cn go by train or bus.

Hope this helps
