automotive repair

Why would you not want to know automotive repair? I always feel like an idiot when I take my car in for service. It always bothers me that because I know nothing about cars that I am at the complete mercy of the mechanic's integrity.

or the whole knowing if theres a god or not.

I think if there was a god, he'd want us to live life as we think it should be lived.

holy shit quan, i dont know if you know this but i came to that EXACT same conclusion under a year ago. its so awesome its literraly just what i decided. i believe my words were 'us knowing whether there is a god or not shouldn't change anything about our attitude towards living our lives.'

Actually I should...as I am the only person on the planet who paid almost 100 dollars for a 15 dollar oil change.....

Hello everyone, I am just pipeing in for a moment. (I am still in Northern Alberta). I like this thread, and I will add to it; I would like to know the truth. Absolute 'Truth'.

History, Science, Religion, Etc., all have their "points of view" and versions of truth. I would like to know the actaul going ons of the world, to have the ability to see through the facade.

Peace Out.
Brendan

I would like to know everything, but not really knowing everything, something like just minutes before you die you know everything, before that, you learn everyday much more.

Sometimes I feel so stupid and dumb, and so young, I have no idea how I should fix my bike, altough that is quite simple. I don't know why buildings are in the way the are and what they tell about their time.

I'm still learning, I'm learning more languages, I have a subscription at (or is it, subscription on??) national geographic and that helps, but still so many things are unkown. And that is frustrating and really good, because it means I still have things to learn.

And do you think it's possible to know the 'real truth?', does it exist? Because everythings seems to be a opinion of something, we call black, black, because someone gave it the name black. We decided that the world started around the birth of christ, so we have the difference BC and the normal years, that is really strange if you start thinking about it.
