Anybody out there into Tennis. I know there are alot of Australish(Tway-is this a correct usage, I wonder if its even a word)people in TP. Anybody going to the Open?

I haven't seen if my boy, Marat Safin is in this year. I know he was having knee trouble. I mean, yeah Federer is awesome and I love to watch him but I like seeing other people give him a good run.

Maybe Rafael Nadal can do it on the clay. Otherwise, Federer is gonna run over people like a Mack truck.

I am into tennis, my dear friend!

Federer is awesome? To some extent, yes he is. But anyway he lost to David Nalbandian after winning the first 2 sets and collapsed after that... last year... But I would vote it as the climax for the men's single.

The women's climax would go to the battle between Venus Williams and Lindsay Deavenport in Wimbledon 2005 final! Exciting!

Federer is likely to grab the title and women...ugmmm...I just don't know...it's all in the same level and fitness...

Lee, great to see you back....where did you hide??? About Federer...this guy is the king of tennis. He plays the game like it supposed to be. After Sampras retired I thought this is it!!! But then Federer came and I think he is even a better version of "pistol pete". About federer loosing to Nalbandian....well I know he suffered some ingury at the time. And after winning some of the important tournaments (e.g Wimbledon)...I think its not a shame for him to loose to Nalbandian (which also is his "angstgegner", he lost to Nalbandian several times in the past.....)

For this is year its obvious that Federer will make another good chance for the title. If Federer is playing his best tennis nobody can even come close to him. The only one that will come close to him (if playing well) is Andy Roddick (road to final is open for him...maybe Moya or Blake are litte obstacles. Hewitt should be semi-finanlist. A good outsider could be Ljubicic..

I know there are alot of Australish(Tway-is this a correct usage, I wonder if its even a word)people in TP.

That would mean they have Australian qualities. Like being kinda Australian. (It's like that old joke: He's not really a Jew, he's just Jewish.) I think the proper term is just plain old "Australian". ::insert thread-jacking, sticking-out-tongue icon here::

I know just about nada about tennis, although I once saw a guy with a tennis racket on the Tube during Wimbledon...

You play it with a yellow ball and a thing called a tennisracket. You need to hit your opponent as hard as you can using the yellow ball and the thing called a racket...good luck
