Pretty, young Russian girls grunting. What's not to like?

I know just about nada about tennis, although I once saw a guy with a tennis racket on the Tube during Wimbledon...

Sounds like he was in the right place at the right time.

LOL!!!! I just had an image of some poor sap bouncing around in the subway car, waiting for a tennis ball to be thrown his way.

I haven't seen if my boy, Marat Safin is in this year. I know he was having knee trouble. I mean, yeah Federer is awesome and I love to watch him but I like seeing other people give him a good run.

Maybe Rafael Nadal can do it on the clay. Otherwise, Federer is gonna run over people like a Mack truck.

Marat Safin pulled out a week before the tournament started, because of a knee injury. Rafael Nadal is out due to a foot injury.

The women's climax would go to the battle between Venus Williams and Lindsay Deavenport in Wimbledon 2005 final! Exciting!

I believe at the time of your post, Venus Williams was already knocked out in the first round.

Awesome to see a couple of tennis fans here. So who are you routing for?

Men's - Roddick! (lets be honest Federer is gonna win)

Women's - Maria Sharapova

Not really rooting for anyone in particular. I prefer the French Open for upsets.

Federer will probably nail it, since Safin is not around (would have rooted for Safin if he'd played). I don't really mind so long as Hewitt doesn't win it. His antics are disgraceful.

As for women... I like the Belgian girls, but again, anyone but Serena Williams.

Yay! A Marat Safin fan. Welcome to the club.

Sorry to say that I never admire the sportsmanship of Marat Safin! He was too vulnerable to express his emotion on the court! Federer is somehow prudent and unassailed.

About the ladies, anyone of you remember many years back the pretty girl from Argentina? (during the time of Atranza and Steffi. Monica Sales was stabbed before that)

Well...back to the point! I never expect anyone to win this tournament but still the biggest chance would go to Federer and Andy (hopefully Andy can play wiser rather than 'strong serves'). Girls I really have no idea...from Lindsay to Kuznet are entitled to their on-spot performance. I agree on Jun's say, French Open was just full of surprises as well as the final year's cup's result. I guess everyone likes surprises.

Another compliment would be my honoured for Martina Navralotiva. I saw her since my childhood!!! She is the one of the fittest creature I've ever seen in my life! How old is she now???(Although she seems unable to win any double-play nowadays...)

and Wouter, here I am! I am back to the TP's court...do not ever think Martina Hingis is the focus of all the spotlights for her return. She was defeated and I am still playing now!
