Gaudio lost after 5 sets...he seems unable to improve his play nowadays. He was too prone to make errors!

Wow! Roddick seems good enough so far! Will that a sign showing his last opponent is Federer, Phil's brother? (Swiss on the go!)

Yeah, I actually stayed up to watch the Hantuchova/Williams match. I didn't realize there was a rain delay and flipped through just to before goign to bed. Serena just looked in bad shape. Her footwork was off pretty bad. If Hantuchova had a bit more of that killer instinct she might be pretty good but I think she's out in the next round next what with Maria being her next opponent and all.

I agree about the lack of killer instinct. Hantuchova struggled to finish off the match. If Serena had fought back a bit more, she'd have saved the matchpoints and the set. But it was really just a matter of time before she lost. Sharapova seems to be in good shape, though.

I think the highlight of the next round is Nalbandian v Robredo.

Just look at Kournikova. She (used to) looked quite charming at the first place and after gaining her fame and famous, her games are deterioting and becomes an easy target to get over, what a shame, man!

Nobody took Kournikova seriously. Nobody bothered.

Wait a minute. This has gotta be from last night, then. I'm watching the Robredo/Blake match right now. I'll pretend I didn't read your post Summer.;)

By now, you'd have read it. LOL. Robredo played pretty well. Chela v Kiefer should be a good match-up as well.

The heat is taking a toll on the players, though. I wonder if they're going to revise the extreme heat rule.

Wasn't it worse last year, with the heat and all? Part of the game, and hopefully, for the better players, part of the training. Thats why so many train in Florida. And I thought I heard something about Roddick hacing gone out to Australia early to train in the heat for a bit.

Maria rolled over Besenova. I thought she might get a little challenge from her. Its been great tennis so far. Hope they keep it up in the heat and all.

Did he? Well, fat lot of good it did him. He got smashed 6-4 1-6 6-3 6-4 by Marcos Baghdatis. Yes!

Ivan Ljubicic VS Thomas Johansson... what do you think? Well, I guess Jun is overjoyed witht the defeat of Roddick! (Perhaps Bai Ling will go and pacify him)
