•Does seasonal work pay much or is it working for food and accomodation?
•Im going away for a year and just want some advice on what clothes to bring. What do backpackers usually bring? Obviously being a warm climate im going to take T-shirts, Vests, shorts, jeans, trainers, flip flops... Should I take some trousers, shirts and shoes for
a) going out to clubs
b) Chance I get an office job
•Not sure how much to bring and what size backpack to get. Don't want to bring to much but I will be stopping for long periods so maybe its worth bringing a little more. Better to much than not enough?
Stupid questions but there they are.
take too much and u end up carting it around with u or posting it home, take too little and u can always buy extra stuff if u need it
Depending on the season and location our temps vary greatly across Oz. Clothes arent expensive here, you can buy t-shirts for $10 or less if youre not fussy. So dont bring much. You will need a shirt with a collar to get into clubs and nice pubs as well as decent shoes- not trainers.
As for seasonal work, I dont know alot but know they usually offer accommodation and pay as well. Its long days and hard work but you meet fantastic people from all over the world.
A 60litre backpack should be big enough.
