I was at a little bar drinking with a friend, heard a loud boom, so i went outside to see what it was, thought it was a firecracker or something, but there was a guy slumped over his bike, he was a "balut" seller guy, balut is some kind of phillipino egg cuisine food, but anyways, he was slumped over his bike, gunshot in his head!

i was 1st person to see the guy, then i seen others coming out looking at him, then within a few minutes there was a whole crowd of people gathered around

a guy was around the corner puking from seeing the dead guy

was definately one of the weirdest feelings i've ever had in my life

funny tho, nobody offered to cover him up, or anything, ppl were taking pictures of his dead self, cops just stood there, didnt ask us any questions or anything

Hey,

Jesus thats a bit rough!! Hope your ok and it doesn't play on your mind for ages. Bet ur feelin pretty shocked rite now but soon enough u'll feel ok. I had similar experience in Cape Town, was crossin the street on a quiet sun morning and heard a loud crash and bang in front of me at the intersection, nearly got killed myself!! Me and my mate were the only people to witness the car accident. Bodies thrown everywhere.. 3 died! It scared the shit out of us and at that time of the morning, the first thing we did was try an find a bar that was open to get the drinks in!!! yeah, played in my mind a bit but soon got over it!

These things happen but i wouldn't get involved with the police, just incase it turns against you. Witnessing death is prob a part of my job working in an accident & emergency dept but never fails to touch you! You'll be alright soon enough once the shock factor fades.

Keep well...:)

Nedia x

Years ago I arrived at White Sand Beach, Puerto Galara just after a German man was shot to death in a seaside bar. A misunderstanding over a cigarette. The downside to the P.I. is that many local guys have guns and are not adverse to using them, especially after drinking a bit of firewater. A word to the wise.

I'd like to point out that your title is somewhat misleading-you in no way 'witnessed a murder'.

What you saw was a murder victim and you witnessed the aftermath of a killing nothing more.

Yeah, zachary - because you didn't witness the bullet going through the guy's head, you should just get over it and be more careful in what you write

My comment was in jest (hence the smily face), and was directed to Sam Salmon rather than Zachary.
