Hello fellow travellers bascially i am planning (saving up to)to go on a RTW trip in April - May time.
My trip stands at starting in London then -
Bangkok Overland Singapore - Sydney - Christchurch - Fiji - LA - New York
Im planning on travelling on my own - is this a good idea as it is my first time travelling? and am currently on a gap year before i go to university so i want to explore.
I have sorted out tours (including accom.) for most the places so im spending about a week in each place but i want to take a few days in each place to discover the city.
All in all im hoping to spend 2 months travelling before summer properly kicks in so i can spend with my family friends before i go uni - my plan is to save up around 4 grand - ive worked out that flights and the tours come to 2,500 all together so will i have enough money realistically to enjoy my time in each country.
Thanks if anyone could help please
You'll have no bother travelling by yourself, you'll meet loads of people - particularly as the places you're going are all well-established backpacker places. I've been to all of your route apart from Fiji - you'll definitely have a great time!
I think £4k should be plenty for 2 months, you'll probably come back with change from that unless you really hammer it every night.
Are you sure you want to do tours everywhere? You might find that when you get there you want to see things that you choose rather than being dragged around - it would be cheaper if you did it by yourself too.
yer i know but i wana explore the country as i will only have a week per country nd it soerts out accomadtion and eveyrthing - in each placei fly to i am intending on spending like 3-4 days there neway exploring the town - especially bangkok and singapore - plus my san fransco tour ends in los angeles so im gona live up hollywood nd everything -
