I've applied to go back to Uni in September. Until then I just thought I'd do any old admin/office job to save money, and perhaps have a month away before I start. Its not been as easy as I thought.

I had a second interview for a very well paid but horribly boring job on Friday. I tried to convince them that I wanted to work there (lie), but cos its so different from my old jobs in social housing, they saw right through me. They just weren't convinced that I really wanted a boring career in administration for a company that sells industrial sliding doors. I wonder why not?

I'd rather be doing a job I hate than being unemployed though. Its a bit soul destroying.

Yesterday- Monday 23rd January, was officially the worst day of the year apparantly...

Everyone who gets paid at the end of the month is broke, what with Christmas.

People have started to break their new Years resolutions

The weather is dull, dark and it feels like ages until Spring.

But the bright side is.....that was yesterday! So things can only get better. Every day iis one step neare spring, and one step nearer payday.

Or dole-day, for some of us!

Yeah, I probably should be stoned to death for saying this, but I've got too many job prospects rightnow.....oh how quickly things can change in a day.

I think I'm going to go shoot myself now....bye everyone !

Being "in-between jobs" has caused me to get addicted to Neighbours again. I got back into watching it when I was in Australia. I must admit I went on the Neighbours Tour in Melbourne, but I had to- it was a childhood dream- I grew up with that programme!

And even more evidence that the lack of mental stimulation is driving me loopy- I nearly cried when that plane went down last week.

you are all so right. I haven't done yet my big one lifetime trip, but I am planning on doing so asap!!! Anyways, I have lived in 4 different houses (in 3 different countries) for the past 4 years, and I can't wait to see how my life changes again soon... Should I be worried about this????

No need for guns when daytime TV gives you something to live for.....

I saw Trisha this morning. It was like a social worker's case book. I swear those people are even more messed up and disfunctional than the ones on Jerry Springer.

While I'm sitting at home in tracky-bottoms and greasy hair I might start writing in to Chat, Take-a-Break and Bella with "Top-Tips". You get £25 for each one they print.
