Quoting GregW

S Club 7's S Club

I must say that admitting I own those CDs will probably make the members of this community think I have bad taste in music. But it's really not that bad. I also own lots of cool stuff, too.

Quoting Twinkle

it had various things such as the memorable telephone number from that saturday morning show 'Live and Kicking'... 0181 811 81 81!!!!(how could you ever forget?!?!)

I remember that phone number like my own! And Byker Grove with Ant and Dec..

[ Edit: Fixed quote ]

Candy cigarettes? I can't believe parents used to buy their kids those, mine in particular. I look back now and think, you bastards!

Two other shows come to mind that nobody wants to admit they watched, but I'd lay money down that if they grew up in the 80s, at some point they watched Saved by the Bell and Full House. I suppose with a lack of reality TV to fill the airwaves, that's what we had to fill the void.

Saved by the Bell was a corker!!!Recently Trouble had a whole Saved by the Bell day, it was on for like 7 consecutive hours which my friend and I were only too happy to watch as we nursed out hangovers!!!

Saved by the Bell. That takes me back to skipping lectures at Uni.

Who remembers "Why Don't You?" The only tv programme that actually told you to "Switch off the TV set and do something less boring instead"

I could never understand "Why Don't you?" cos all the kids that presented it had really strong accents from Northern Ireland, or Liverpool or Glasgow and so on.

Twinkle, did you get to meet Geoff from Byker Grove?

27. Posted by Twinkle (Travel Guru 1112 posts) 10y

I actually have the funniest story with regards to Geoff.....the guy owned a little garage and somehow through a friend my Dad took his car there to get fixed...Geoff actually screwed it up causing hundreds of pounds of damaged to the car! I even got to wear that vile purple "trespass" coat that patsy used to wear...hey that was back in the day wasnt it?!?!
Remember "Challenge Annika"?!?!Saying that Jim i'll Fix it was always a firm favourite!I love Jimmy in his gold lame tracksuits and all those medallions?!?!Who else graced Jimmy with a letter?????I wrote to him begging to meet "Bros!"

There must be something, that you always wanna do
The one thing that you always longed to go
Now you've done it
Jim has fixed it for you
and you and you and
ba-ba baaaa ba ba ba ba ba-ba baaa
