Hi Desiree,

Please be patient in getting an answer for your question. It's only an hour old and you're already bumping it up the list. If this is repeated, it would be considered as spamming and your posts could be deleted.

Others who have the answer for you may not be on-line at the moment to post a reply.

Wait at least a day or two. I'm sure you'll get an answer.

Cheers,
Hien

go north try manchester the library is brill and the museums are second to none they have from shrunken heads - mommies etc then theres the other museums for clothes and dolls houses and art theres loads. you will save a fortune . try a trip round b.b.c then theres the docks.
then go north . theres more in the north and it's cheaper and better.
try scotland

Call in on Newcastle!Im originally from up there so Im a bit biased! Its a big city, loads to see and do, pretty chaotic and drunken nightlife which is a sight in itself....great for shopping...museums...the Baltic is amazing, its a showcase for contemporary artists.....try further afield also...Bamborough is beautiful if your into the north east coastline (avoid Whitley Bay at all costs!) Also theres some amazing countryside...Kielder, Rothbury...and theres a lot of National Trust and Heritage Places!Sportswise.....weve got a big football team there as well as a really big Rugby following and you can check out ice hockey too!
But, hey, I say go and get drunk!!!!!!

Thanks for all the ideas. I 've lived in Thurso, Scotland the fartherest north as you can go up in Scotland..Castletown. It was a small dot on the total scheme of things. But would these places be good to go on, by myself.Any advice there? I'm pretty open and friendly and like to meet new people, but maybe I'm a little too unknowning to travel alone. ;)
