We left having made a strong bond with the group, taking away email addresses and a list of things we must see in Turin. We felt touched they'd taken the time and effort to help us out. My view of Italian's has since improved.

[i]what was your previous view of italians in your experiences travelling the world?

None; I was basing it on other Italians I've met in London, stereotyping somewhat!

What is 'Indy'?!

Just wanted to point out that between Feb 18th and 19th there will be a massive party involving all city clubs, theatres, shops, restaurants and all people , called White Night (notte bianca), that will see almost 1 million people around the centre celebrating, parties and shops open , all night long, from afternoon to 6 am.

It's usually done twice per year, but this year it'll be made for the Olympics as well.

:)

white night in turin as well?:)
well, I haven't seen The Turin White night, but I'm sure that-depending on the season...)-it would be great like it is elsewhere, a great opportunity to visit the city and monuments not ever open..

why don't you post the web site with the program?

for andarts: unlikely it's true, many Italians don't speak a very good english (including me, but I try to do my best:)), but usually people are quite helpful..;)

Ha! Gotcha :)

Sounds mad; is it all over the city?

The ones I encountered where most helpful :)

Quoting mikehoben

why should he post this review in a blog?this was a helpful review that should be in the forum for all to see!

You're right, but there's a searchable feature in the blogs that allows people to look for places they are interested in, I thought it was more of a diary/ blog type post and merely suggested andarts might find some use in this feature of tp?
