I suppose the airplane would be the fastest :)
You could also go by eurostar from London to Brussels, and from Brussels to Paris by Thalis. Not sure how long this will take, probably something like 5 hours...

The best is eurostar from London waterloo takes 3 hours takes you to Gare du Nord. If you stay a saturday night prices start from £79

or try
or British Midland .com for cheap flights they have more civilised times than easyjet

Tingo - Out of curiosity, why do you suggest they go Eurostar/Thalys via Bruxelles instead of direct London-Paris? Trying to convert them to seeing Belgium as the place to go? ;)

Btw, Alex, depends where in France you actually want to go and where in London you are. If you are in central London, the quickest way to be anywhere on French soil will be Eurostar.

Gelli you are right... He doesn't have to come to Brussels first :) I didn't realize that the tunnel starts in France and not in Belgium :)
