Late breaking news!!!!!

Australia could be overwhelmed with bed bugs!!! Seems like a good reason to sleep on the beach......

Bed Bug "Pandemic"

Ooooohhh, toss up there...

Bedbugs, sandfleas, bedbugs, sandfleas... I'll take the sandfleas, please!!! Hey, it's the beach - beats doing battle with bedbugs in a hostel any day.

(Beerman - notice they didn't mention the 5-star hotels... I'll get right on that booking - one right on the beach with no bedbugs nor sandfleas! Just lots and lots of martinis.)

They should round up the little critters and play Bed Bugs. Hours of fun for the whole itchy family!

Actually, all over the world bed bugs are making a come back. Even here in North America, where we haven't had bed bugs since just after World War II, bed bugs are coming back, and they are now resistant to our insecticides. It's impacting every type of establishment, from flea-bag motels to five star hotels.

Here's just the latest article I could find... Don't Call It A Comeback!

Where did they live before beds were invented, and more importantly, what were they called then ?

Fortunately for me to know it's been so far away from my bed

Yeah, but if you sleep on the beach you get sand everywhere! In between your toes and in your hair so I think I choose the bedbugs..

James, good question! They can't just have been called bugs, that would be confusing..
