What's the point?
I keep all the conformations of anything I order, ebay emails...mails from special people...etc, etc...TONS...so I love that I can keep them, and find whatever one I am looking for in seconds.
I guess...gmail isn't for everyone.

I have my own personal email (pozos.ca) so I guess I have unlimited email space two, and my mail program on my computer clumps similar emails together. Hmm I guess I am just not into online email service...

I agree with Reece though... being able to keep every email you get is not a good thing, haha!

Hey, I still dump the spam and garbage :)
I guess your email is similar to gmail then...I have just always had really crappy email service, hotmail, yahoo, charter...that HAD limits on how much email I could get...and on the size of email recieved. I have a cousin who sends rather large files (understatement) and I couldn't even GET them until I got gmail. So I love it!

Could someone send me an invitation too? [email protected] I'd really like to join gmail. Thanks!

Gmail is soooooo 2002 Just kidding, but I don't see the appeal of gmail. I tried way back when it first came out, but didn't care for it. I didn't realise you still need an invite to get it? When are they going to just open it up I wonder.

Gmail rocks! I love it for so many reasons:

1)It has huge storage
2)It's yours forever! No more signing in every 30 days
3)Just like your mobile number, you can take your email address with you to any new email service you use. Just auto-forward all mail
4)Autocomplete email addresses(just like Outlook)
5)Zero spam. In 12 months I haven't had one spam email!
6)Clean and simple interface with only a few directed adverts
7)Extensive search facility
8)Works with most email clients so you can have your email on your computer if you wish
9)It groups email conversations together. This sounds strange but its so useful, I just couldn't go back to hotmail now

Check it out

Funny thing, but I get a ton of spam in gmail. Not as much as my regular one, but I do get it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong ?

Hmmm, I get hardly any spam in my gmail account. Of course, I've been pretty good about not using it many places. I actually have 3 gmail accounts and 2 hotmail accounts, and use them all for different purposes. One of the hotmail accounts is my "spam" account, which I use to sign up to anything I am unsure about.
