HI All,

IM Planning on visiting multiple countries in south america and was wondering on the easiest ways to travel between countries. I have heard the buses are ok for in country buit i was wondering if the same applied for cross border trips? If you have any websites or links that could help me out in finding trip lengths and prices that would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

Travelling via bus across the borders is very easy. You won't have any problems between Peru, Chile, Bolivia and Argentina. Basically you arrive at the border, get out of the bus, get a stamp, get in the bus and go to the next station, get out of the bus and get a stamp and then keep going.

The only one I don't know about is Brazil. I know people who have crossed the borders overland there, but not sure what deal is there.

Hey Adam!

Apology accepted.

I know it is common practice on many other sites to "bump" your thread to keep it high on the list or, at least, on the first page. Though there are no specific rules concerning "bumping", it is frowned upon at Travellerspoint. You have found out, the hard way, that TP members are not keen on this practice. Please refrain from doing it again. If all of our members decided to "bump" their threads, it would be a Moderator's nightmare.

If you have not done so already, I recommend using the search function to see if there are other threads that may help answer your questions. Keep your keywords simple. I know this question has been asked before so I know there are answers just waiting to be found - by you.

Thanks!
