mexico/usa

Hi all,

Im going to be arriving in san fran on the 23rd of may leaving for mexico beginning of june. I have a month to pack around mexico then will be moving to New York beginning July.
Anyone have any info for these places??? must see/do things?
Advice on places to live in New York (short term rent/share housing?)?
Any other solo travellers keen to join for part of the trip?
will be travelling on a budget (with no spanish ability....) but am keen to meet new people and have some fun!

For living in ny if you're getting an apartment you should check craigslist.org for apartments/shared rentals etc there is a ton of stuff

Where are you going to be going in Mexico? If you go to Baja mexico I could list some pretty fun places to go there. I hitch hiked along the highway there and talked to a lot of people driving the penninsula for a few months.
