That's great, if it involves something other than food, its good shopping.

I bought, cherry tomatoes, sesame ryvita, and red onions...How dull. Sounds healthy though! But its (almost) quite interesting to think of what you spend in bits and pieces and on what. I never have anything to show for it!

But I did spend a fortune on make-up at the weekend.

I think this goes back to my traveling days, but I sometimes like to see if I can go an entire day without spending any money at all. Today for instance, I bought a turkey sandwich for lunch and will eat leftovers for dinner. Victory! $5.45

Okay, I know that sounds cheap, so let me redeem myself. Yesterday:

$150 - I finally got around to ordering 1000 of my traveling prints off of snapfish.

$15 - 1 bottle of wine

$25 - Dinner (with leftovers for tonight)

$2 - Lottery tickets, or as I like to call them, the tax on the poor

$4- 1 Starbucks; followed by another $2 Starbucks (I drink the cheap American crap)

$181.73 - Paid utility bills; heating in Colorado is brutal.

Nice topic by the way.

Being unemployed and temporarily sponging off my parents, its quite easy to spend nowt all day. Generally, she buys the food, I cook it.

However, the days I spend nothing are generally the ones where I don't leave the house at all! Which is not good.

I bought four dummies (pacifiers) at $1.80 each, and a new washing machine for $799.

It's too early to be shopping this morning - except online... But, yesterday was "townie" day so I paid/bought:

1) Paid 4 credit cards, next month's mortgage and our last propane tank refill charge.
(Bank account went from full to empty in a check signing frenzy for the above.)

2) Groceries - assorted meats, fresh vegies, laundry supplies and some gourmet items that will be part of a gift for a friend (smoked oysters, sardines, and other good stuff).

3) Nine different varieties of cheese from the local cheese factory (Knight's Vale, Smoked St. Bernard, Horseradish Havarti, Fontiago, Fontina - Swedish and Italian, Port Salute, Chevre, and a Blue).

4) Cat food, goldfish food, kitty litter, gift wrapping supplies, Ivory soap (WalMart - gotta love that store).

5) Five bottles of wine, 1 bottle each of spiced rum and citron vodka, and Muriel/Swisher Sweets little cigars.

6) Dropped of taxes at accountants office - maybe they will pay us...
