Nothing will be bought today... (Back to my normal routine.) :( But, glad to be back home too! ;) While I was gone - it was a spending spree...

I bought 3 windchimes, silver/abalone ring, necklace charm, 6 refrigerator magnets, 2 denim shirts (w/Cape Hatteras lighthouse on them), 4 books, lucky silver frog charm, small carved pelican, small carved turtle, ghost ship map, 2 lapel pins and jacket patch. I know there's more but haven't emptied the bags or luggage yet.

I notice there is no donations to my drinking fund in that lot, you can buy cjeques at every american express office worldwide

I had a big spend on sat 300nok for the cruse, 650nok for taxis 1065nok for dinner and the big one...............2250nok for guinness

Are you telling me the 6 bottles of asorted rum (from Jamaica, Antigua and Panama) have not arrived yet??? Sorry! The pack mule isn't as reliable as he used to be... I think all those post card deliveries are taking a toll on him... I've included a selection of Quahog (pronounced co (like go) hog) shells to trade for Guinness, just in case they don't like the color of your money...

TRADE FOR GUINNESS
Never happen, it's all mine, all mine I tell you ......
You can use DHL instead of the pack mule, not as fast and less reliable, but not cruel to animals

I bought some sushi for lunch. It's gotta be the most overrated food on the planet.

I used to think the same thing, until I tried one of those fancy-pants restaurants that charge an atrocious amount for five little pieces. The bill at the end was rediculous, but oh, was that sushi ever good. We have a 'fast-food' sushi place downstairs from work, and their lunch specials taste like a lot of nothing with Soy sauce.

It was townie day and I bought the usual stuff (cat food, groceries), but also some new earrings and a great peasant skirt and blouse for summer. Hey, they were on sale...

The Quahogs were in case no one would take your money - or you ran out - then maybe you could still get a Guinness or two... (Hey, if shells worked as currency for Caligula, they might work for you...)

DHL????? If they are as good at finding your house as they are at finding mine... You'll never see the rum!!!!! UPS or FedEx are my carriers of choice - besides the pack mule. And, on that note - the pack mule (affectionately known as Beernard) is very fond of water and Guinness. ;)

Typical, get an animal that has good taste .
Well i'm heading back to the UK tonight (for 36hrs anyway), so i'll be getting the obligatory duty free fags and booze ;)
I've just found out the the carrier pidgeon carrying the booze that i have previously posted was found in a ditch near a brothal, stiff as a board. Seems it's been there for a few weeks now and for some reason has not started to decompose.......very strange...
No sign of the booze either !!!

Maybe the carrier pidgeon really isn't dead - just taking a long time to recover from the brothal and booze... There's also a good chance the carrier pidgeon told Beernard about the brothal. (That mule is such a slut!!) If so - I should have used FedEx...

I forgot that I also bought Rod Stewart's American Songbook IV CD yesterday. (Yup, we're suckers for the moldy oldies.)

I may actually do some internet shopping today!!! Amazon gift certifcates are a good thing and just screaming to be used!
