I went shopping online!!! Yeah!!! Sorry, didn't mean to shock everyone...

I bought 3 DVDs (Zorro, the Gay Blade, Love at First Bite, Club Paradise - the VSH version was wearing out), 2 CDs (Waylon & Willie - can't find my vinyl version, and Pontiac by Lyle Lovett - have the vinyl version but no turntable upstairs), and a Firesign Theater CD for Beerman's brother's birthday.

I still have $20 left on an Amazon gift certificate so I get to go shopping again soon - right after I figure out what I really want or need. Item(s) should be related to travel in some form so the decision may take awhile - so much from which to choose...

I don't think that's sad at all!!! All I need is a map of North America, Central America and the Caribbean. About 30 pins would do me just fine - most of them stuck in US states. My mom also had a map of the US on her wall with pins in it. She never got to travel outside of the US, but she had a lot of pins stuck in a lot of states! Oh wait - she did make it to Canada once... She bought some china cups there. I now have those.

Beerman used to have a periodic table of the elements on his wall - a very big periodic table - science classroom sized. We still have it and it's out-of-date.

(I save everything we collect during a trip - pamphlets, airline tickets, newspapers, odd hotel soaps and sugar packets, Homeland Security's "ransacked your luggage looking for bad things" notices, maps, etc. Your map on the wall is a fun thing - enjoy it!)
