God, thats so funny!!! I have a bit of gossip....I cant really name names here, but a couple of years back my mate was dating a very well known premiership footballer...They had been going out quite a while and she thought he was serious about her and then he turned around and asked her, If he paid her £8000 would she marry his cousin so he could get a visa and move over here!!!!!

You do know that 'lothario' is a man?? Since most of your posts are offensive to woman, I have to assume you don't know what that word means.

i only know they are hot fiery sweaty passionate latinos...like i said yum!

eh?!?!?I think this post has totally gone off on a tangent?!?!?!?This is merely a chance to divulge any 'holiday romances', summer flings, exotic affairs, whatever you want to call them, that occur during travelling (or long term visits to places, or weekend breaks, holidays, whatever!!!!!)...whether it be crazy whirlwind romance or a nice love story?!?!Everyone has got stories, whether they be hilarious or dull!!!!

I think it's fair to say you are correct, Twinkle. Though it's not uncommon for threads to take different twists and turns as member's post replies, keeping the threads in the regular forums from drifting too far off center should be considered when responding. Thanks for the redirection towards your original topic.

I never meet my (ex) boyfriend during my holiday. However, I always have a nice moment with him to wherever we were, especially for last five years ago. Now we just broke a month ago (you know that, Tina!) and I wonder may be it's good to go travelling with an additional purpose to find a 'till death do us part' boyfriend???

hmmm Im not sure, I guess you just have to be spontanious, you never know who you are going to meet or where you are going to meet them, but I say if your single and open minded anything can happen!!!I say dont go with a mentality that you will meet the man of your dreams, but a bit of romance whilst away is always fun and its nice to look back on, but you never know...if fate intervenes you might just find the person you are supposed to spend the rest of you life with!!!Saying that you could also find your soulmate in your local supermarket or on the bus, so who knows?!?!Its all very exciting!

I'm with Twinkle on that one. I met my b/f when I wasn't looking to meet anyone. It just kind of happened. Took us both by surprise!

When it happens it's so wonderful! I also met my current sweetie when we were both working on a ship! Ship romances are notorious for being firey, passionate, and......short (although quite wonderful, and I could spend hours reminiscing about some of my flings!!). Some work out forever, but most don't. Just keeping an open mind but a good hold on your heart.

So is it true that the Captain goes down with the ship or was it just the two of you?
