...and I don't think I can 'just click' on the specific post just to test whether the button is functional or not (imagine if every guru&resp. members click on the 'spam' just to test its functionality...then that'll be an over-load work for our moderators).

Thanks.;)

For every "important" action you're about to do, like flagging a post as spam (have you tried this one?), you'll be asked for confirmation before it will be performed.

And I don't think the respected members and travel gurus, being so long in the forums to reach that level, will be stupid enough to flag a post as spam unnecessarily. If they really do it repeatedly with no basis, we will contact them and advise them on their actions.

Don't worry too much about overloading work for us moderators. We've thought about the consequences before we implemented the functions. :)

There was one when he got the spam button!

But I won't do it again...

Oh yeah, I remember THAT one!!!! ;)

Don't feel bad, Lee. I rarely use the quote function (in the row of function buttons) and just type in the code as I go. I do use the quote function (between "spam" and "rate it"), when just commenting to one particular thing. If I add more quotes in my reply - I type the code. For me, it's just as quick as going up and hitting the button. (But, I'm old school and still do long division...) ;)
