Favourite place thats a hard one.I liked Vancouver because you have the city but the mountains are not far away.

Ahem! That would be the wrong answer!

I'd have to say Canmore, such a beautiful place!! Also Nelson BC, my brother got married there Sept last year at the Blaylock mansion, lovely place and fantastic views! I've only been to Alberta and BC so I can't comment on the rest!

Victoria, BC. Neither too big nor too small, full of life but also relaxed at the same time. And not to forget about the beautiful nature and beaches surrounding it.

ok I am from Toronto so I am not biased at all... but I'm gonna let y'all in on a little secret. If you are ever travelling out east in on the Cape Breton Island theres a place called Pleasant Bay, where there's whale watching tours, and at night we just went to the beach and hung with the locals and got drunk around a bonfire. I think the population is around 80 people! lol

OK 1. Jasper, Alberta (It has so many outdoor activities, and it so beautiful)
2. Anywhere in BC, Vancouver, Kelowna, Penticton
3. Halifax, how can you not love it!
4. Calgary, Alberta (a laid back city, close to the mountains)

I grew up in Toronto and thought it was the centre of the universe. It's only when I left did I realize how wrong I was.

Large city - Montreal - lived there 8 years and loved every minute.
Medium sized - Kingston ONT - lived there 2 years....fantastic small community, lots of history and just the right size
Small city - Yellowknife - Yep, the good 'ol YK has many charms! (Whitehorse is runner up in a close battle)

Worst place in Canada -- Thunder Bay. Sorry, it's a dump.

Jasper: i'm biased, i live close by, but i've heard from visiting friends that the youth hostel is terrific and the snowboarding in winter is even better.

I agree Thunder Bay is one of the worst!!!

Sorry anyone who lives there.
