Im looking for a trip from March 9th - 19th, 2006, to anywhere interesting. I can travel to most places in the world with not too much of a hastle. If you have an idea of a place that is a little more "out of the way" and are available for those dates -- or even if you just have a suggestion on where to go -- please help me out!

Are you interested in Bali? I haven't been there for a long time and it would be nice to have company. Intending to go 8th to whenever.

Do you only have 10 days free? 9-19 March?
Sorry for pointing out the obvious ... but 10 days not that long so I'd suggest sticking to somewhere within a decent flight time [no more than 10-12 hours] just so you don't waste time adjusting to different time zone & climate for first few days...

I have oftern tried [& failed] to do Australia to UK to attend family functions etc without loosing too much work time so 11 - 12 days in UK then back to sucks...normally spend 3 days on arrival totally shagged and a week ill on returning...

I'd suggest sticking to somewhere in world that doesn't have too big of a change in time zones.
Hope you find a great adventure to share with someone.

I have done plenty of 3 day trips to Oz or Europe before. They can be fun although I do know what you are saying about wasting time with travel.

Bali sounds like it would be a blast but, like what has been mentioned, 10 days wouldnt be enough to visit a place like that.

Right now my best ideas might include the Appalacian trail (georgia/carolina portion) or maybe Yellowstone.

I am always looking for ideas though
