As for memory cards. SD is probably the way to go, definately the most common at the moment. I would recommend 512Mb for a 5Mpixel camera. You can pick these up for about £18 if you search hard enough on the internet.

I just seen on eBuyer that they are selling 1GB SD cards for about £20 including free P+P, sounds like a pretty good deal to me! Gonna grab a couple at that price!

Testify to Road_Trip! I got mine the other day and it cost me £20. It's by a company called VIKING (you can get them on 7day.com and Amazon are flogging them too) but it's an SD card all the same. I'm going to take my 64meg and 16 cards with me as well just in case, but the little chap holds nearly 9,000* photos on my Ixus 50! Yes, NINE THOUSAND!!!
