hollyblond has indicated that this thread is about Australia

While i'm on my travels in Aus i'd like to find some family i've never met.
My dads dad moved to Aus and remarried about 40 years ago, he has since passed but however, he also had three more children with his new wife who then went on to have children of their own.
So basically i have a step grandmother and aunts, uncles and cousins which i have never met.
My Dad has met most of them all but has recently lost contact with them over the years.I know he would love to get in touch with them again so thought it would be a nice suprise for him to find them while im there.
Does anybody know how i can look people up?
I know they were last living in the Melbourne area but haven't got many details and dont have a clue where to start!!!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks xxx

Well you have a city and a family name so start with the white pages: If that doesn't work you can go the Australian Electoral Roll commission offices in the area and look them up there. Its compulsory to vote in Australia so pretty much everybody is on these rolls.
