Awwww Clara, heres another couple along the same lines.....
"Its alright for some" or "It must be nice...." Find both equally as irritating....I have a friend who to be honest is one of those really bitter people who you just know will never get out there and do anything....everytime I or one of our mates brings up something to do with going away its always those same lines....grrrrrr....its so frustrating!!!
I love those cruiseship corkers!!!Saying that theyre are the sort of things I would let fall out of my mouth without thinking!!!!

Heres a few from me.

The traveler was active; he went strenuously in search of people, of adventure, of experience. The tourist is passive; he expects interesting things to happen to him. He goes "sight-seeing."

-Daniel J. Boorstin

and.....

"Not all those who wander are lost."

-J. R. R. Tolkien

Michael Crichton also wrote in his travel diary
"Because the world is bigger - much bigger - then any of us can ever know, then any of us can ever imagine."

But alone and out of context that ones almost a deterrent, don't you think?

Best
Chad

AGREED!!! If I got a dollar for everytime one of my "land-loving" friends has said that to me....grrr....

It IS nice, and they could do it, but they are just too chicken!!!

(mind you,it is a very big step, but when they say "I wish I could do something like that...." well, you CAN!!!)

Love it. turned feelings into words for me.

"Trust me, it's paradise. This is where the hungry come to feed. For mine is a generation that's circles the globe and searches something we haven't tried before. So never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never fail to be polite and never outstay the welcome. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it." - The Beach

wow. i love you guys. gets me all wiggly inside.

"I feel bad for all those people that are convinced that the world is now a boring and unadventurous place. Maybe i should make it my job to show em."

Be Well,
