There are about 200 + places to stay in Pattaya.
Lot of sights to see, but I would recommend you not to miss
Alcazar & Tiffany show. Also lot of activities at Pattaya beach. Night life is also abundant there.

How much do you want to spend per night?

You can stay in the Mariott at the mall for $100 a night.

Bay Breeze Hotel, Soi Honey Inn, around 600 baht per night. A/C, HW, TV, big bathroom with tub, security box in your hotel room and pool. Located close to one of the man roads Pattaya 2nd Road. Easy baht taxi truck connections to the Big C Mall, etc. -snip-

Cheaper hotels and more expensive hotels available depending on your budget.

If it is one or two things Pattaya is good for it's cheap hotels and cheap eats!

[ Edit: sorry, no emails in the forum please. ]

I have just returned from staying at Chaplins Bar in Pattaya - Soi 3.

It has to be said that of all the places I have been to in the world, they get no better than this place! If you are like me, I like to stay where I actually feel welcomed... and trust me - you are part of the local crowd within minutes of arriving...

This is a down-to-earth local pub with a quality pool table, dart board etc - but with one exception... it's in Pattaya!!

Fun, relaxed, great beer, great company and a brilliant landlord. The rooms are huge, air conditioned and cleaned to the highest standard every day laying on fresh supplies of drinking water to stock the fridge up with...

Willie and Lek (owners) make you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive and will cater for your every need - be it showing "where to go" and "what to do" to arranging fishing trips, golf days or just general sight seeing tours.

A1 accomodation and A1 staff.

Kimono,
There are hundreds of places to stay in Pattaya at all price levels. I will suggest a few in the moderate price range. Try the Sawasdee Hotel Group. The have 5 in Pattaya at all prices. Sawasdee Hotels.. Also try Apex Hotel. on 2nd Road, 500 baht, famous for its buffet. Apex another place to stay at around 500 baht is the Hillside Resort. Away from the noise of the city, between Jomtien and Pattaya. Hillside

Can recommend Queen Victoria INN on Soi 6. Near BigC and major attractions (include night life), not far from bus station...
