I'm leaving for my first bout of travelling tomorrow. I'm all packed and ready i think. But Since its my first time, i'm really just hoping for the best i've got everything i need, is there anything that can be easily overlooked when getting ready for a big trip? i just have that nagging feeling that i've forgotten to do something really important. And any last minute tips would be appreciated.
Hello!!!You must be getting super excited by now!!!!!!!I figure, theres only a few staple items which are considered important...anything else isnt so much of a worry and you can pick up when you get there!Im terrible at packing and get really paranoid about forgetting vital stuff, im so badly organised!!!Make yourself a checklist!
2)money, credit cards, travellers cheques....
3)Insurance papers, important documents.
And obviously yourself!!!I think as long as you have everything you vitally need then everthing else is as added bonus....clothing, guidebooks and whatever else are all things that wouldnt end the world if you forgot them!
My personal other must haves are : my address book, journal, plug adapters, Cadbury chocolate, Lemon Grass oil (most perfect protection against insect bites!!!
Oh yeah, I always leave a list of important numbers, bank details, rough itineries, flight details blah blah blah with my parents or someone back home just for safety!
Have a great time!!!!
There's a very useful packing checklist under the Tools section.
