This thread is marked as being about Belgium

I plan trip to the Brussels and I try to find some cheap accommodation with parking in Brussels or in a neighbourhood. Can you recommend some good place? Thank you in advance.

It would be best if you could indicate what type of accomodation you are looking for (hostel, hotel, appartment, ...), and for what type of stay (a few days, weeks, ... ?)

Brussels has a "small" ringroad and a large (highway) one. Within the small ringroad there are only 2-3 youth hostels that are more or less afordable, very few hotels. There are cheaper (small) hotels, but they do not have parking facilities and they are generally of low quality, not really value for money. The youth hostels do NOT really have parking facilities. Parking in Brussels is however not a problem if you use one of the numerous parking buildings or garages, but these are quite expensive.

Between the small and the large ringroad there are a few hotels, again with the same problems, but parking might be slightly easier to find.

Outside the big ringroad you are about 15 to 25 (outside rush hour) minutes from Brussels centre. is there any particular part of Brussels you'd like to stay in ? West or East, north or south ?

Prices will be 60-150 € per room per night for a guesthouse, 70-1000 € for a hotel. gives an overview.

If it needs to be cheaper, you'll have to get away from Brussels, to some "plastic" motorway motel, or to a lousy station-area hotel in one of the smaller town around Brussels. Camping is another possibility. Once you answer the questions in the beginning of this reply I'll give a more precise tip.

Have a nice trip to Belgium

Thank you for your tips.

Here is additional info about my plan:

  • I'm going to go alone.
  • I'm looking for any type of accommodation (because I'll go by car I need possibility for parking).
  • I'll stay in Brussels only few days.
  • I can stay outside Brussels where prices are lower.

Thank you.

Hotels in cities near Brussels may be cheaper.(Leuven or Mechelen) If you plan to stay in Brussels, a cheaper formula can be "Bed& Brussels".
You stay with locals who rent you a room for a night or 2...
Here's a link where u can find more info
(under topic "stay overnight")

If u need more details, feel free to ask;)

Good luck,Zan
