Emirates are very good, I especially like the seat back entertainment. Thai air are also good, the first airline to offer brandy after a meal that I've been on...maybe they were trying to put people to sleep. Lots of space even in economy on the flights. No shortage of food an drink which is always good for me!

Air Canada is awful, I agree not much leg room, unfriendly staff and not enough food and drink (and the stuff we got was sub standard)!

You Meant to say Qantas im guessing, never heard of Qautas :-) They are still one of the top Airlines in the World and in fact is the only one that has ever been more reliable than any other airline. Good Service, COmfy seats and leg room, good entertainment (depending on what flight and where from, very much what you look for in a flight. I never flew with British Airways but have heard they are still one of the best, which you could compare with our National Airline Qantas..

I'll be flying from Australia with Qantas and British Airways in less than 2 months time and am looking forward to it.

Hope ive helped in anyway, but im sure you wont have any problems with Qantas.

I have flown JAL, China, Eva, Northwest, Korean and Singapore to Asia and Singapore Air is the easily the best airline. Due to the fact that I am a non lottery winner, I usually end up basing my choice on price and that puts me on Singapore Air's competitors.

Anyone flown Gulf Air before? I've got a flight with them to Singapore in May (from Sydney) and I'd like to hear anything about them. They were by far the cheapest ticket to Singapore from here but that might mean their quality suffers

My personal favourite:
Singapore Airlines

I'd love to try:
All Nippon Airways (ANA))

I might consider:
British Airways
Air France

My best flying experiences were with Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines, and this comes from a guy that doesn't like flying at all. The absolute worst must have been a Rossiya flight from St. Petersburg last year that had a serious fuel leak...

Best by far has so far been Qatar Airways. I also love Easyjet and Ryanair!! hahaha so cheap its lovely. Who cares if the service or whatever is not up to scratch, it only cost me 20 quid or so to fly anyway!! I have also flown with Easyjet and Ryanair hundreds of times and have not yet had any real complaints. My next flight is to Hong Kong with Air France and I have heard that they are awful! Ah well, it was only £304 return from Manchester.

Best experience I had was with South African Airways from Frankfurt to Johannesburg. Good entertainment system and leg space. Still haven't flewn with Singapore or Malaysian though. Cathay I did, but unfortunately I did not think it was one of the best in the world.
Worst was with Air Koryo (north korea) in an Ilyushin 62....that noise

I was impressed with Czech air but i wouldn't say that they were alot better then most of the other airlines i've flown with. I agree with the BA comments. But it is nice to have free drinks ect on trans alantic flights.

Is Cathay Pacific still good quality ( got two flights with them in a few weeks ) ??

Has anyone flown with Etihad airways ? ( I was looking into flights back and they came back as a ok price )
