My favorites are Singapore Airlines (most comfy pillows for economy class in addition to everything else) and Qantas (yummy Cadbury hot chocolate and spacious seats), though I've encountered bad inflight service from both.

Cathay Pacific and Thai Airways are ok. Cathay has pretty nice food and Thai has improved alot since I last flew them in 2004. KLM...well I personally think non-Asian airlines are not known for great service, food is edible and depends on your luck whether you get their new planes with wider seats and personal entertanment systems (if you're on long flights). I usually fly KLM to Europe cos they are the cheapest from Singapore, but sometimes there're flight delays that can turn your trip schedules upside down if you do not have the luxury of time.

I have flown, and do not desire to fly again with Air France and BA and Northwest (in fact I'll avoid any American airlines all together).

My airline to Asia is Asiana (that other Korean airline) - they're Star Alliance and now five star. They won best flight attendants recently (and it's true). They also have some of the best prices, but are not classified as an LCC.

In the States, I fly Alaska, jetBlue, Virgin America, Midwest, Continental, Southwest and Frontier.

Other favorites include Air New Zealand and British Air. I was most impressed with Vietnam Airlines too.
