The best and first contact to make is the British High Commission in Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, you can read a lot of information on their web site

The High Commission will also be able to give direct personal advice about working in the UK.

Another site to visit for information and advice:

non government sites that could be of interest to look at: -

If you want more advice please do get back to me.

I forgot to add the rest of the information you wanted on the HSMP, that is the High Skilled Migrant programme. web site is
the same one I gave before this is the direct access to the page

working in the uk

I don't think the working holiday maked would apply since the schools would want you to be available for a definite length of time and that would depend on the location of the school, with possible different start and end times to the school year.

That's not quite right. There is plenty of casual work for teachers through agencies such as Select, Hays, Axcis etc. Schools only want you to be available for a definite length of time if you sign a contract with them.

I am on fulltime with a school and I still regularly get hassled by agencies that want me to do a week here and there.

English kids are just that poorly behaved that there is always an abundance of work for the intrepid teacher.
