Quoting tway

Wait, wait - we have to colur-coordinate our uniforms first. I think Isa and Beerman's bright shirts are clashing with my black flack jacket. It's a recipe for disaster...

Have I been voted in as Second In Command yet??? If so - brightly colored shirts will be issued to all recruits, except Tina, who will make a fuss. She will be issued the drab, monotone (previously allotted regulation) ecru - it goes with everything - even black flack jackets and jack boots.

I have an abundance of sticky-backed tape and a shipment should be arriving in your garden just in time for tea and watercress sandwiches. Please feed the pack mule before sending him on his return trip. (He gets cranky if you don't share watercress sandwiches with him. His name is Beernard. Don't tease him about that either - he picked it out of a hat. Though, he was leaning toward Clancy for awhile, but finally chose Beernard.)

If I have not won the election - though I think I was running unopposed - my background will serve the cause well in the brasserie/cafe (cheffing, not waitstaff) and/or the MASH tent. I nominate Tina for creating the revolutionary propaganda. Purdy has already volunteered for the brasserie and MASH unit. (Though, one would think she would have a supply of sausages for the cause... But, Belgian chocolates could prove to be useful items...)

Awaiting the next report and thinking of orders to issue in the interim.

I'd like to volunteer for the UK travelling revolutionary Home Guard. My mission: to drink ale in a revolutionary manner and throw chips at the telly when HSBC ads come on.

GENERAL MART'S UPDATE

isadora has served well as a second in command during my absence away on the most dangeroustest mission in the whole wide world. indeed colour cooridination is important... im thinking of Moauve. Thanks for the sticky back plastic by the way folks, it came in handy when i kidknapped and tortured those enemy makeral. ha, their disguise as innocent sealife didnt stand up to me, i knew that their place on the shelf in the supermarket was really as spies. the enemy are onto me!! they have begun reconnaisance missions against us; i know this from my interrogation; it didnt take long before those stinking makeral cracked under the pressure... haha...!!!
but we must be more careful from hereon. dont go out in daylight, keep your eyes peeled for anything suspicious, especially seemingly innocent animals you think may be watching you.
the next stage of our assault must be something really big, really public, really shocking to put us on the map. any suggestions? i have a plan, all i need is a truck with a tilting cargo area, a trawler with nets, a willing and able crew of fishermen and appropriate uniform ie smock and leggings. and also a flare gun and some blu tack.
i appoint tway as my companion on this dangeroustist mission, and isadora as acting commander in our absence.
!!!!!!!!!!!!anyone wishing to join me apply here!!!!!!!!!!
preference goes to those with sefaring experience, a smock, some leggings, a trawler with nets, a truck with a tilting cargo bit, some blu tack and a crew of willing and able fishermen, and access (not neccesarily legal access) to a ship-to-shore ramp of somesort, able to take a load of 30jillion canadian pickle-tonnnes.

IF WE DO NOT RETURN, YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO....
BUT OF US, THE TP TIGERS, THE TRAVELLERS REVOLUTIONARY ARMY... THINK ONLY THIS; WE BELEIVED, WE HAD A FIRE IN HEARTS, AND INSTEAD OF STABBING IN THE BACK, WE ROSE UP, WE FACED OUR ENEMY, AND WE TOOK OUR MORALS LIKE A BURNING SWORD IN OUR CLENCHED FIST, AND DID DRIVE THAT BLADE LIKE A FELL STROKE DEEP INTO THE FACE OF OUR ENEMY.

VICTORIOUS OR DEAD, I HAVE DONE WHAT I CAME TO DO. WE ALL KNOW THE TRUTH! AND THOUGH THEY CAN TAKE OUR LIVES, THEY CANNOT TAKE OUR MINDS! SO WITH YOUR FIST IN THE AIR SHOUT! RISE UP! FIGHT! TAKE WHAT YOU CAN AND WHEN THE DUST SETTLES, THE LIVING WILL REAP WHAT WE HAVE SOWN.

Wednesdays out for me. I have a meeting with Singapore Airlines in Sydney. Shall I warn them that there's trouble on the horizon?
