Isa has decided this goes to Off Topic... (It's just too rich to pass on and be buried here.)

Beerman says he will be keeper - he will be good keeper - he comes with experience and many, many wounds/scars to show truth of statement. And, he bring beer, lots of beer, his beer, no other beer, only his beer. But, you like!

As you can tell, Isa was just the typist while Beerman dictated his statement. ;)

fine if no one else wants to be on my team im going to have to cancel that fixture with manchester united on tuesday. or i will just take them on meself. ill divide the goals by 11 to make it fair and so as long as the score stays below me 2-22 man u ill be in with a chance. ps.last minute entry onto the squad available now: preference goes to those who can do the 3 times table backwards from 300 in under 2 minutes.

Well, i'll sign up as long as i have no responsibility for any of my own actions.
I have a great wealth of experience of fequenting many clubs around the world and downing most of the local teams.
I have a 100% win record against the best, and would take great pleasure in downing 'man who shited' as they are a bunch of pussys.
As for position, well i'm normally up front where the action is - no use being at the back (unless beerman has a bucket load os booze).

I'll sign up if I can stand on the sidelines and yell "GOAL" for the Travellers Untied Football Club, of course.

Isa is surprised that Beerman has not made another appearance... Maybe he is filling the kegs with the beer for the TPFC after-match party.

I'm game!

Tway Schmiway (01) of Norway
Ball-kicker thingamajig
Rank: clueless

Skills:
Can colour-coordinate with home team and visiting team's uniforms. Makes a decent martini. Played soccer once in high school and kicked opposing player's shin. Likes Irish accents and long walks in the park.

Prev. Experience:
Has vague recollection of what soccer field (aka pitch) looks like. Once ate a pastry that looked a lot like a football. Kicked sister numerously when they were kids, thereby developing healthy hamstrings. Can scream "sock-it-to-her" in such a way that it sounds like a football chant.

Keep in mind - Tway Schmiway (01) of Norway only works in shades of black. Are night games planned? Are there lights?
