Hello everyone

I have had enough of the stress of working life and have decided to get away for a week. I can go on the 25th March. Has anyone got any idea where I can find some nice weather? was thinking about the algarve but it is only 14c there at the moment. My priorities are:

1- price
2- temperature (nice and hot!)
3- nice beach
4- good food
5- nightlife

Anything else is a bonus. Any ideas?

Cheers

sorry to disappoint you but, nowhere in Europe is as hot as you want it to be in march...try Malta, southern Spain, very south of Greece, Cyprus...but again, i don't think you will be able to swim and lay on the beach anywhere at that time... if you do though, let me know (:

all I need is about 20c or more. Was thinking about malta as that is very cheap.

The Canary Islands are pretty warm.

I'd say Cyprus might do the trick. Its about 20c there at the moment. Lovely.....

thanks for all the good advice...

Ok I feel that a compromise is needed. The only cheap deals I can find that seem to be in a warm place are for malta. However I have two issues with malta which I hope people can help with:

1- who has been at this time of year? Is it warm? (ie 20C or more)

2- All of the beaches listed in the hotels I am looking at seem to be pebbled. Is this the case with all of malts's beaches? if not, is there a part of the island that people could recommend?

cheers in advance

This (link below) is what the BBC says for this week in Malta, 15-16c but dry and bright. You can search for a five day forecast for anywhere in the world. I doubt temperatures would rise that much in 2-3 weeks.

The question to ask yourself, and maybe research further, is will there be enough other things to do if the weather is not great?

Malta suits your criteria apart from the nice food.

Canary Islands may be a good idea.

I'd suggest Sicily
