If you play guitar you can always serenade him...

Great idea! He can't leave, he's hand-cuffed to the bed!!! (Sing-Along with Mim!!)

if you're competetive you could start off with a game of bowling or pool, it gives you something to laugh at later in a bar....

Does the guy know that you like him? I don't see what's wrong with going out for a nice meal, just choose a casual, even funky, restaurant. After dinner, go for some drinks at a pub with good ambiance and good music (a live band would be better); again, keep it casual and relaxed. Truthfully, I really don't think it matteres that much where you guys go or what you guys do, but how well you get along. And smile, smile a lot and laugh and enjoy yourself!

I have a little date myself tonight, a first date. Going over to his place for dinner. I'd like to bring a bottle of red wine, but I'm not a wine connaisseur at all. Can anyone suggest a good bottle of wine, not too pricey but not too cheap either. Unfortunately, I suffered from insomnia last night, so I have these ugly bags under my eyes. Does any of you girls know how I can get rid of them?

What is varicose vein cream? Aren't these veins usually on the legs or something? Can I get the cream at any pharmacy? I'm at work, so cucumber is out of the question. Water I have - do I drink it or splash it over my eyes?

I think you might have to splash it away.

the cream is supposed to be used on your legs but if you use it under your eyes it works like a natural concealer, you should be able to pick it up in a pharmacy,

with the water, drink loads and splash it on your face,

varicose vein cream is the same as (don't laugh) hemorrhoid cream. It contains a vasoconstrictor which will take down the puffiness. Just don't get it in your eyes!!!!!

Another alternative - rinsing your face with alternating cold and hot water. That is, as hot as you can handle. Wet a cloth with cold water and place on your eyelids for 2 minutes. Repeat the process with the warm/hot water. Do this alternating for about 10 minutes and that should stimulate the blood flow and brighten/tighten the lower lids.

Forgot to add - end with the cold water rinse.

I don't remember that one so it could be some other wise soul that knew the trick. But, I try to be a wealth of (usually useless) information. Never know when it will come in handy!!
